Description
This Steven Battelle aquamarine ring is part of our newest jewelry collection. Filled with a 13.3 carat aquamarine, it is an ideal statement piece. It is considered high karat gold because it is 18 karat. High karat gold appears more yellow than lower karat options. Furthermore, 18 karat gold has fewer alloy materials than lower karat gold. That is to say, it is purer than lower karat gold. The ring is a size 7, but could be adjusted with ease.
Interestingly, this aquamarine is a cabochon. This means it has no facets. Another thing to know is that aquamarine is beryl. Likewise, emerald, morganite, and heliodor are beryl stones. Beryl stones are often some of the most expensive gemstones. Iron is often responsible for the blue-green color of aquamarine. Additionally, the green color of emerald is usually caused by chromium.
We invite you to see this Steven Battelle aquamarine ring in person. Our store is located at 951 Monterey Street, San Luis Obispo. Or, contact us to ask any questions you may have. We can also help you commission a custom piece.
