Michael Jensen Designs crafted this 2.26 carat spinel ring just for us! The ring is 22 karat gold and sterling silver. Currently, the ring is a size 7.5, however, the size can be altered.
Additionally, Spinel is an August birthstone. An 8 on the Mohs scale, it is considered relatively hard. This hardness refers to Spinel’s ability to resist scratching. Surprisingly, the ring is very comfortable. The ring has a low profile despite its large appearance.
Michael Jensen is an artisan from New Mexico. He works with ethically sourced gems. Jensen also uses recycled materials. Serengeti West and Jensen are both members of the American Gemological Trade Association. Jensen is known for his sterling and high-karat gold pieces. Jensen describes his style as “contemporary with a classical feel.”
