Edwardian Engagement Ring with .31 carat diamond
An estimated .31 carat diamond rests in the center of this Edwardian Engagement Ring. The diamond is estimated to be G-H in color. Additionally, it appears to be SI1 in clarity. That is to say, you will not see inclusions with the naked eye. However, you will be able to identify inclusions when the ring is put under ten power magnification.
This ring has been inspected by our staff gemologist. The diamond is held in place by four prongs. It features delicate filigree details that are representative of the era. Also, the ring is set in 18 karat white gold. Because the ring is vintage, it does not include a GIA certification. Finally, we estimate that this ring was created at the end of the Edwardian period or the beginning of the Art Deco era.
Additionally, this ring could be worn with a band or by itself. We recommend trying it both ways to see which you prefer.
This style of ring is beautiful and somewhat unique. Because it is vintage, it is somewhat uncommon.
