Isn't a Sting Ray a Fish?
By Kim Watson
Well it most certainly is a fish. They are found in almost every temperate ocean in the world. They are a fascinating display of whimsy and power, swimming fluidly through the ocean in their wavelike manner. They are most often found lounging on the ocean floor disguising themselves with sand to avoid becoming the dinner of a larger sting ray or a possibly a shark.
The latest in durable and attractive watch bands is now sporting the hide of this most prestigious aquatic creature. With a stippled and textured, effect these bands are showing up on Audemars Piguet and Michele watches. We look forward to the next fashion forward watch lover to come in and see if we can order them either a black, blue or brown band for their extra-ordinary watch.
The bands themselves are polished to expose the pebbly surface and the resulting shiny finish is both elegant and practical.
